Right of withdrawal for consumers
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed (§ 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB).
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (GM Labs, Georg Malahov, Kurt-Schumacher-Str. 32, 97422 Schweinfurt, Germany, email: georg@malahov.io) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out this reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount that is proportionate to the services already provided up to the time you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of services provided for in the contract.
Immediate commencement for the Pro subscription
When you purchase the Pro subscription, we ask for your express consent at checkout that performance begins immediately — i.e. before the withdrawal period expires (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; § 356(5) BGB).
In the event of withdrawal, this means: the refund is reduced by the share attributable to the part of the billing period that has already elapsed by the time your withdrawal notice reaches us (pro-rata by time, § 357a(2) BGB). Example: if you withdraw from a monthly subscription (€7.99) after 7 of 30 days, we refund €7.99 × (23 ÷ 30) = €6.13.
The free trial period and the free basic plan are free of charge; withdrawal is moot in that respect.
