What the foundation already has
- The public site: home, about, news, events, projects, team, documents, contact, a donations page.
- The panel: entries, events, projects, documents, team, site images, page copy, tags.
- People: members, membership applications, invitations by link, four roles — owner, admin, editor, member.
- Impressum and Datenschutz pages, consent checkboxes on the forms and visitor statistics without third-party services.
The site stays yours
- Domain, data, content and access belong to you.
- Ordinary technology, not a homemade system: another developer can pick it up.
- Your own installation: a separate database and file storage, not an account inside somebody's site builder.
What it costs and how long it takes
From €1,495. That is the final price: no VAT is charged, as I am a small business under § 19 Abs. 1 UStG. What moves the figure: how many sections, whether an old site has to be moved over, how many languages. I name the exact number in conversation, before any work starts.
About two weeks of working time. That is the amount of work, not a delivery date. The foundation is written and running, so the time goes into your content: copy, documents, photographs. How many weeks it takes on the calendar depends on when those are together — on the first project two weeks of work stretched over two months. When I can start, I tell you beforehand.
Frequently asked questions
Are you free right now?
I run few projects at a time, so there is sometimes a queue. Write to me and I will tell you honestly when I could start.
We are not technical. Will we really cope?
The panel is built for a board, not an editorial office: a list, a "create" button, a form, a "publish" button. I walk you through it on the live site and stay around until it feels ordinary.
Do we have to have several languages?
No. The foundation is built for several languages, but the site can be built with one. Which languages you need is something we settle in the first conversation.
What about members' personal data?
In the panel, the member list and the applications are open to the owner and the admins only. They are never shown publicly, and the data sits on a server in Europe.
And if in a year we want a different developer?
You can have one. This is an ordinary stack, not a closed platform: another developer can read the code and carry on.
