CALL COPILOT

Listen to your client. Let AI take the notes.

Even if the meeting is in desktop Zoom. Even if the client needs the minutes today.

The Call Copilot side panel during a call: live transcript with speaker names and markers

Listening and taking notes at the same time does not work.

While you phrase the last thought, the next one goes past. And a bot in the participant list has to be explained to the client.

Sound familiar?

This is for you if…

Yes

  • You are a consultant, a coach, or you run a small practice
  • After every call the client expects a document
  • You pay for your own tools
  • Your calls are not only in English

No

  • You need a team workspace with shared recordings
  • IT has to buy the tool for you
  • You just want an archive, in case

What you get

  • Records a tab — or the whole computer

Meet in the browser or Zoom on the desktop: the source switches with one click.

  • No bot joins the call

Audio is captured on your own device. Nobody sees an extra participant.

  • One conversation, as many write-ups as you need

A summary for the client, action items for you, a plan for the proposal. No re-listening.

  • Ask about the call without interrupting

"What did we agree on the deadline?" — answered from the transcript, mid-call.

  • Transcripts stay with you

Stored in your browser. Audio goes to Deepgram's EU servers and is not retained.

  • AI in the cloud or on your machine

A cloud model that never trains on your data, or Gemini Nano right inside Chrome.

Four steps

The other side installs nothing.

1

Install the extension

One click in the Chrome Web Store. The demo call needs no account.

2

Choose what to record

A browser tab or the whole computer. Your microphone runs alongside.

3

Have the conversation

The transcript runs in the side panel. Mark what matters, ask about the text.

4

Take the document

A summary from a template, action items, decisions — in a searchable archive on your device.

What it looks like

Real screens from the extension, not mock-ups.

Conversation screen: transcript, summary and questions about the text

After the call: transcript with markers on the left, a summary from a template on the right, questions alongside.

Conversation archive with search and tags

An archive with search and tags — in your browser, not on a server.

The Audio sources panel with System audio selected

A tab or system audio — one click before you record.

What people say on the Chrome Web Store

12 reviews on the Chrome Web Store →

  • No bot and one click background recording is very handy. Screenshotting during a call is another super feature for me. Can't imagine my next demo call without it.
Viktor Kazakov · Chrome Web Store
  • The real-time translation is a lifesaver when someone has a thick accent or is talking way too fast, and I love that there is no annoying bot joining the meeting so it stays professional.
Niamat Ullah · Chrome Web Store
  • Translation on the fly is super useful for my international calls. The local model idea is awesome, feels much safer. And it's fast! Also really like being able to search past conversations.

Try it on your next call

The demo is free and needs no sign-up. An account gives you 20 minutes of transcription. After that — credits, no subscription required.

Install from the Chrome Web Store

Also

  • Separates speakers. Names can be fixed after the call.
  • Transcribes files and links. Audio, video, a page or a clip — without recording a call.
  • Translates on demand. Any passage of a transcript or summary.
  • Markers and screenshots land in the transcript by time. Your own notes sit alongside.
  • Recording keeps going if you close the panel or switch tabs.

Privacy

  • Recordings and transcripts never leave the device. There is no cloud sync.
  • Audio is transcribed on Deepgram's EU servers and not retained. Model improvement on your audio is switched off on every request.
  • AI is your choice: a cloud model with no logging and no training on your data, or Gemini Nano built into Chrome.
  • One-click deletion — together with the audio and the transcript.

Frequently asked questions

Will the client see that I am recording?

Not in the meeting interface: no bot joins, no notification appears. Telling the other side is your responsibility — recording laws differ from country to country.

Can I record a call in the Zoom or Teams desktop app?

Yes, from version 1.10.0 — through system audio. You need Chrome 141+ and macOS 14.2+, Windows or ChromeOS; not available on Linux. Guide.

How do I move my recordings to another computer?

Export the database as one file and restore it on the new device: Settings → the "Backup" tab. The whole database moves at once, audio included. Guide.

What languages does it work with?

Not only English. Any passage can be translated on demand.

What do I need for it to work?

Chrome or another Chromium browser and microphone permission. For tab recording, the meeting open in the browser.

What does it cost?

Credits: one minute of transcription is one credit. The demo is free with no account; signing up gives you 20 minutes. After that, monthly plans from €1.99 or one-time packs from €24 with no subscription — the exact prices are in the extension.

How is this different from the big note-taking services?

They are for teams: a bot in the call, a shared workspace, a licence per seat. Call Copilot is for one person who takes a client from conversation to document alone.

Version 2.0 — in development

Next: the document writes itself while you talk

Before the call you say what it is about. As the conversation runs, the document fills in on its own. By the end it is ready: export and send.

  • The goal of the call — set before recording, skippable
  • You see what has been covered and what has not
  • PDF export and a tab for a second screen
